Brook's Top Five: Dectaur Daily

Class 1A-3A top five
1. Hazlewood: Looked good in 2005 and has the talent to better last year's 8-4 record. The Bears return 15 starters from last year.
2. R.A. Hubbard: Even after a 6-6 record last year, the Chiefs still know how to win. If anything, last season will serve as motivation.
3. Addison: The Bulldogs will have to prove themselves in 2A after winning the 1A state title in 2005, but they're solid enough to have success in their new classification.
4. Tanner: The Rattlers have been consistent for several years. This season could be a more physical version than the Rattlers' opponents are accustomed to seeing. Stable offensive line should allow Tanner to post some strong numbers.
5. West Morgan: A tradition-rich program, the Rebels should be able to exercise a little confidence from the past as they move from 3A to 2A.
