Brooke's Top Five

Class 1A-3A Top Five
1. Addison (3-0): The Bulldogs have had no trouble so far in moving up to 2A. Look for Addison's offense, which averaged 56 points in two region wins, to stay explosive for a victory this week against Cherokee, whose offense doesn't have near the point-posting power at 24 points per contest.

2. R.A. Hubbard (2-1): R.A. Hubbard has come alive after a 7-6 season-opening loss to Addison. No close calls since — the Chiefs have won consecutive games by an average of 3.5 touchdowns.

3. Tanner (3-0): Along with Addison and Cherokee, the Rattlers are still undefeated in the 2A, Region 8 and should stay perfect facing Phil Campbell this week. Phil Campbell has already lost to Red Bay and West Morgan this season, both teams the Rattlers have beaten.

4. West Morgan (2-1): The Rebels look to separate themselves among a slew of one-loss teams in 2A, Region 8. It'll take a win over Red Bay to do it, and West Morgan is quite capable.

5. Speake (3-0): Priding itself on defense, Speake has a strong offense, too. While the undefeated Bobcats' defense has been holding opponents to 11.3 points per game, the offense has done its part by posting 34 points per win.
