Class 1A-3A Top Five
1. Addison (6-0): Proved itself as the top team in 2A, Region 8 with a 28-17 win over Tanner last week to remain undefeated. It should be enough for the Bulldogs to host a first-round playoff game for the fourth straight year.

2. Tanner (5-1): Lost for the first time this season a week ago, falling 28-17 to Addison. It meant Tanner fell from the top spot in the region standings, but the Rattlers are still in good standing for the postseason. A win this week against Hatton would solidify that.

3. West Morgan (4-2): Will be a heavy favorite over struggling Winston County this week. West Morgan averages 25 points per game, while Winston County is scoring an average of 12 per contest.

4. R.A. Hubbard (4-2): The Chiefs have won four of their last five games and are undefeated in 1A, Region 8. R.A. Hubbard has been solid in its region victories, winning by an average of 17.3 points per game.

5. Speake (5-1): Aside from a 20-0 loss to R.A. Hubbard on Sept. 22, the Bobcats are having a dream season. Speake has outscored its foes 173-79 this year.
