Class 1A-3A Top Five
1. Addison (8-0): Few teams have posed a challenge to the Bulldogs this season, but statistically this week’s game with West Morgan looks to be one of Addison’s toughest matchups yet. The Bulldogs will pit their 33.5 scoring average and 10.9 allowed per game defense with West Morgan’s 31.9 point per game offense and 11.4 defense.
2. Tanner (7-1): The Rattlers should have no trouble in their final week of region play against Cherokee.

Tanner has outscored its region opponents 173-95 with only a loss to undefeated Addison, rising to the runner up spot of 2A, Region 8 behind the Bulldogs.

3. West Morgan (6-2): On a four-game winning streak, the Rebels face their toughest challenge of the year this week against undefeated 2A No. 6 Addison. West Morgan already knows it will travel for the first round of the state playoffs, but will get to gauge its postseason readiness against the Bulldogs.

4. R.A. Hubbard (6-2): The Chiefs have clinched at least a tie as Class 1A, Region 8 champions for the fourth time in six years and look to be playoff ready. R.A. Hubbard is undefeated in the region and its two out-of-region losses this season were by a total of 8 points.

5. Speake (7-1): The Bobcats only loss this year is to R.A. Hubbard. With a win this week over Brilliant, Speake can host a playoff game for the first time since 1977.
